Minwaashin Lodge – Aboriginal Women’s Support Centre provides a range of Cultural services to Aboriginal women. The program is modeled on the teachings of the Medicine Wheel with an emphasis on empowering women to determine healthy, cultural lifestyles for themselves and their families. The mandate of the program is to assist Aboriginal women to find, cultivate and develop cultural leadership. As well, the program provides opportunities for women to participate in traditional gatherings, recreational outings and ceremonies.

The Culture Program offers a broad range of Cultural support services which include grandmother traditional support sessions, traditional arts & crafts skills development, recreational/cultural outings, sharing & healing circles and traditional drumming & singing.
